Ini Edo Appointed Special Adviser To Akwa Ibom Gov


This is cheering news for Nollywood actress Ini Edo as she has been appointed Special Adviser on Tourism to Akwa Ibom state governor, Emmanuel Udoh.
Reports say that the nollywood star received her appointment letter last week. With her new role, the actress may perhaps have to take a leave from acting and spend ample time in Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom State which is her home state.
An official statement confirming her appointment is being expected from the office of the Akwa Ibom State Government whose administration has been validated by the Supreme Court of Nigeria recently. Ini Edo for up to two decades has been in the movie industry acting in a great number of movies using her charming personality to deliver roles. She acted in Ekaette, one of the movies which she spoke in her Ibibio dialect. Partnering with Emem-Isong led Royal Arts Academy, the actress produced the movie, Knocking On Heaven’s Door.
